Jake Forgan:
How to Make Things Sound Good

Jake Forgan is a graduating recording arts student from Medina, OH with eyes bigger than his stomach, and a love for learning everything. He has been a musician nearly his entire life, and is a member of the Cleveland punk band, Stonebridge. Jake has truly learned so much from his time in college, and much more than just the technical side of this industry. He has worked hard to make it where he is today (working for the Akron-based guitar pedal company EarthQuaker Devices), and is grateful for his peers and professors who have helped him along the way.
MY PORTFOLIO
Welcome to my portfolio. I hope you enjoy what you hear!
NOTE: All instrumentals and vocals on the Home Recording Projects were performed and recorded by myself (except for Tyler Hays on background guitar on "I Don't Want It") in my garage studio. The first two songs ("Song for the Deaf" & "I Don't Want It") feature drums recorded using a Yamaha 4-Channel mixer routed into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. All balancing and panning had to be done before the track entered ProTools.
